Charm Pin - Vintage

Charm Pin with 5 Geometric Charms

Five geometric charms dangle from this kilt pin / dress pin (rather like a safety pin). The center charm is a cross. The others are variations on rectangle, teardrop, triangle, and pie shapes and all are decorated with dots, triangles or other shapes. In silvertone & brass colors.

Measures approximately 2 1/16" wide by 1 3/4" tall. A charming (excuse the pun!) and unusual addition to your collection.

As always, please be sure to click photo at left for additional views. $21.

Laguna Earrings - Vintage

Coral & Wood Dangle Earrings

Big plastic beads of coral sky blue, and wooden beads swing from a faux pearl on these wonderful clip back earrings. The card they're on is marked Laguna. The coral have a swirl of black through them.

The earrings are not marked. I believe they are on the original card. Overall length is approximately 2 1/8" inches.

These are as new, in splendid unused condition. What fun for summer!

As always, please be sure to click photo at left for additional views.

These playful earrings are yours for $19.

Gold Swirl Brooch - Vintage

Gold Swirl Brooch / Pendant

This 10 karat gold-filled brooch is marked "1/20 10K G.F.," adjacent to a little diamond mark. Gold bands swirl from the center and create a beautiful 3-dimensional effect.

The pin has a safety catch. You can also used this as a pendant, as a bail is also present that you can run a chain through. (It folds down if not being used; see larger photo for this view.)

Measures 1 9/16" in diameter.

A simple, elegant design to dress up anything from a lapel to a little black dress. $15.

Monet Daisy Brooch

Monet Daisy Brooch

This big goldtone brooch is enameled in white and vibrant orange, in the shape of two flowers, a daisy and a lily.

It measures a big 3 3/8" tall by 2 5/8" inches wide. Marked © Monet on back. In excellent condition; as new. Perfect for sunny days & dinners al fresco.

$19.

Abstract Modernist Brooch

Abstract Enamelled Modernist Brooch

Abstract shape brooch is goldtone, with a goldtone net over a green & yellow enameled background, accented by a glass pearl. Unmarked. It's 3 1/8" wide by about 1 1/8" tall. Just fabulous. $50
Abstract Modernist Brooch

DeCurtis Gold & Rhinestone Brooch

This brooch is probably from the 1940s. There's a pin on the back, but also a loop so you could wear it as a pendant. Rhinestones the color of topaz circle the top & center. The shape is an abstract angel. A crescent & cascade of clear rhinestones fall from the center. All the stones are prong-set. On the back is the De Curtis mark. In excellent condition. The photos don't quite capture the sparkle of this lovely brooch!
White Twig Brooch

White Twig Brooch

Very pretty brooch shaped like a branch or twig with berries. Goldtone, painted white.

Save for a bit of wear on the pin, in excellent condition. As always, click small photo to see closer views. So pretty for spring & summer!

Robert Indiana LOVE Ring

This fabulous vintage goldtone ring features Robert Indiana's iconic LOVE design. Inside the band is marked "© ALVA."

About size 7.5. In lovely condition; trace of wear to goldtone finish. $145.

Yellow Glitter Flower Enamel Brooch

Yellow Glitter Flower Brooch

This goldtone flower is enameled in bright, summery yellow with sparkly green glitter in the enamel. In addition to a pin at back, there is a hinged clasp so that you can easily use it as a pendant on a necklace, or a string of pearls. Would be especially lovely at a wedding, shower, a cruise, or just rambling along the summertime highways. About 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/8" in height. There is a tiny mark - a dot inside a small square, but I don't know the maker.

$17

Blue Stone Brooch

Blue Stone Flower Brooch

Here's an unusual brooch. A stone, which is mostly blue with white & a bit of yellow, is held in a floral border. I think it is agate, but I'm no gem expert so that may not be correct.

Unmarked, it measures 2 1/4" tall by 1 7/8" wide. The pin has a safety latch.

This gem of a brooch is yours for $17.

Los Angeles Wooden Souvenir Pin with Squirrel

Los Angeles Wooden Souvenir Pin with Squirrel

This pin was probably made in the 1940s. The top piece is stamped "Los Angeles" in gold script; from it dangle two little carved wooden sqirrels, each holding a nut.

The little squirrels hang on strips of suede leather, which are knotted on top & bottom. Just darling.

Measures 1.75" inches wide, and about 2 inches in height, not counting the leather knots, or about 2 3/4" inches with leather. As always, click the photo at left for larger images.

There is a "c" clasp on the back , rather than a safety latch, as was usual in the 40s.

Yours for $32.

Cheyenne, Wyoming - Indian Canoe Wooden Souvenir Pin

Cheyenne, Wyoming Souvenir Pin - Indian Paddling a Canoe

This pin was probably made in the 1940s. It's in the shape of an Indian paddling a canoe. The details of the image, and the words "Cheyenne, Wyo." are impressed into the wood. (The impression is rather light, so the detail was a little difficult for me to capture in the photos, with my limited photography skills.)

There is a "c" clasp on the back , rather than a safety latch, as was usual in the 40s.

In very good condition; the pin is a bit bent.

Measures approximataely 2 5/8" inches wide, and about 1.75" inches in height. As always, click the photo at left for larger images.

$14

Leather Bowling Ball & Pin Earrings

Leather Bowling Ball & Pin Earrings

These screw-back earrings are handmade from leather in the shape of a bowling ball & pin. Each is accented with dark brown, and there's a bit of silver to accent the logo on the pins.

Probably from the 1940s, each earring measures approximately 2 inches in length.

As always, click the photo at left for larger images. Wear 'em out for bowling night & the rest of your league will be bowled over with envy! (Sorry, I can never resist a bad pun.)

Yours for $17.

Pair of Beaded Leather Native American Pins

Pair of Beaded Leather Native American Pins

Cute pair of beaded pins; leather & seed beads. They are not signed, and I don't know their origin, but these are typical of the type of pins made by Native Americans for sale to tourists. Purchased from the estate of a lady who loved to travel.

Each pin measures approximately 1 3/4" inches in length. Fastens with a small safety pin which is sewn on to the back.

As always, click the photo at left for larger images.

$17 for the pair.

Skis & boot pin

Silver Skis Pin

What a fun pin! Silvertone, it measures approximately 2 1/2" inches wide and features a pair of skis with a ski boot in the center.

There is a "c" clasp on the back, rather than a safety latch, as was common in the 40s.

In good condition with wear to finish. As always, click the photo at left for larger images.

1940s / 1950s Leather Roller Derby Pin

Roller Derby Leather Pin - 1940s

Ahh! Here is a fabulous old pin or brooch. It is leather, which has been embossed and painted, and accented with plastic. There is a curved leather piece at top, painted red, and lettered in white, "ROLLER DERBY." From this hang two leather skates. The top edge has been painted red, and they've been embossed so you can see the sole, heel, laces & top edge.

The wheels on the skates are black plastic, painted gold on the front. The pinback is also black plastic with a silvertone pin. The plastic pinback is marked "PAT PEND." There's no safety latch on the pin; the plastic latch is C-shaped (as was usual back in those days).

In very good vintage condition. The skates are a bit soiled & the wheels hang a bit crooked on the right skate; it isn't very noticeable. Ready to wear to the next derby. Everyone will be jealous!

Approximately 2.5" inches x 2.5" inches.

SOLD to the Roller Derby Foundation
Wooden Hoops

Century 21 - 1962 Seattle World's Fair Pin

Century 21 - 1962 Seattle World's Fair Pin in Original Packaging

The World's Fair took place in Seattle, Washington in 1962, was named "Century 21," and the theme was the future.

This swell "21" logo tie tack or lapel pin was sold at the fair. Still in its original packaging, just as the day some lucky Seattleite brought it home.

Made by the Leavens Manufacturing Co., Inc. in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Measures 1/4" inch wide by 3/8" tall.

Click on photo at left to see packaging. The tie tack for sale has never been out of the package - the one we photographed is a loose one we also have on offer.

We have several; a couple of these have cellophane that's unfolded or has a little tear. The packaging has yellowed a bit in the last 46 years. I'll send you the best I have. Else in excellent, unused condition. The pin itself is mint.

These turn up occasionally but, even living here in the Seattle area, I've never seen one in the original packaging before.

We stumbled into a lucky cache, and have 5 of these available, at $9 each.
(See below for unpackaged pins.)
