Early Black Beaded Applique
This stunning antique beaded applique is completely intact & in terrific condition. I can find no flaws.
This unusual piece incorporates seed beads, bugle beads, and some larger faceted beads to create a very pleasing stylized floral design with 3 blossoms.
It is backed with a black fabric; turning it over you can see the many stitches it took to create this piece. (Click photo at left for a view of both front & back.)
I don't know its age, but the design seems to be suggestive of the Arts & Crafts / Deco era. But it may be earlier.
Measures 5 /18" inches wide, by 3 7/16" inches tall.
Add it to a very special piece for just $19.

These are beautifully done, have some weight to them & will be sure to please.
$14 for the pair.

Pink Rhinestone & Sequin Pocket & Cuffs
Pale pink pocket and cuff set, originally meant to adorn a crepe dress. They are embellished with swirls of pink sequins, and tiny prong-set rhinestones in pale pink, blue, and bright pin. So beautifully done! Be sure to click photo at left for enlarged views. The detail is stunning.
The cuffs are each approximately 6.25" long at top, and about 8 1/8" long at maximum. About 3.5" inches in width (measured in center). One has a hook at one end; the other has an eye. The pocket measures 5.25" inches square. Likely dates from the 1950s.
Each is backed with a thin black fabric. The fabric on each has slot cut into the center of it. You could easily stitch it up. One of the cuffs has a bit of glue (?) at top; see photos.
$22 for the set.

Beaded Daisies Wired Embellishment
Here is a bunch of daisies which will always be fresh...a long time ago, someone painstakingly created these little blue flowers from seed beads and wire.
I counted 34 of these little blossoms. They are all wired together, but you can separate them out to use individually or in small groups. They'd work well for millinery, handbags, or other accessories.
Each light blue flower measures about 3/4" inch in diameter. I'd describe the color as a pale turquoise blue.
As pictured (click at left for enlargement), the bunch measures about 3.5" x 5.5" inches, but since they're on wire that's approximate.

Springtime Crewel Embellishment
Sweet piece of crewel, featuirng blue and yellow flowers, with hues of blue, green, yellow, and pink. The border is in a geometric design.
Measures approximately 5.5" inches across the top, 5" inches across the bottom, and 3" inches tall. A very pleasing shape, with a subtle arch. (Click photo at left to see the whole thing!)
In lovely condition.

Tiny Knit Stripes
Here's a little piece of knitting, alternating stripes of ivory, blue, red, golden yellow, green, and black. Not sure what this was meant for, but could make a tiny pocket (would be the right size inside a handbag) or would work as an embellishment.
Measures approximately 3 7/8" wide. It's 2" tall on the blue end and 2 1/4" inches tall on the black end.
Dates from the first half of the 20th century; likely 30s or before.
In lovely condition. $2.50

1920s Glass Beads
These glass beads were purchased in an estate with a few other items, marked 1923. The beads were probably part of a necklace at one time.
There are 28 of them, strung together. Each is approximately 1/2" inch in diameter, but they vary a bit in size, leading me to believe that they are handmade. If you look closely you can see tiny bubbles in the glass.
In lovely condition.

Matilda's Glass Beaded Dress Trim
Three pieces of very old dress trim made with glass beads. One piece is 17 inches long; the other two measure 13 inches each, for a total of 53 inches.
They were purchased wrapped in a piece of paper that said it was "trim from Matilda's old dress." The paper disintegrated from age. Date is unknown but these seem typical of the 1920s.
Each dangle is made of a bugle bead flanked by 3 seed beads on each end. On the three pieces there are 115 of these dangles (that would be 805 beads all together)!
Each dangle is about 5/8" in length and hangs from a tape that is about 3/16" wide. The tape is a bit worn / frayed in places but is still usable.
$8 for all.
