Card of Lady Washington Pearl Buttons
Eight button, measuring 3/8" inch in diameter. The card, printed in red & blue with an illustration of a lady, calls them "an attractive pearl trimming," and indeed they are.
In excellent condition. Card has a couple light bends.

Blue Glass Buttons with Silver
These blue glass buttons are painted silver at the edges. They are pyramidal, rising to form a point (not sharp!) in the middle. Just gorgeous. Set of 4.
In very good condition, showing a little wear to the silver.

Here is a set of 5 plastic buttons. They are kelly green, and have a subtle swirl in the edges. Each center is domed. On the back is a metal loop shank. They're 7/8" inch in diameter, and 1/8" inch thick at the edge (a bit thicker in center).

Pair of Celluloid Coat Buttons
Each of these celluloid buttons measures 1 13/16" in diameter - they're big ones! They're black, with yellow, and have a contoured top. , and is concave. One of them has little yellow; the other quite a lot. They're very lightweight.

Abstract Celluloid Button
This celluloid button measures 1 3/8" in diameter, and is concave. It is tan &
charcoal grey. There are ribs or cords coming out from the center. It's quite abstract and quite unusual.

Celluloid Bamboo Button
Here's something you don't see every day. When I first picked up this button, I thought it was bamboo. It is very realistic.
On closer inspection, I see it is plastic. (I believe it's celluloid, though I can't swear to it.) It measures an inch and a half in length, and about 3/8" in diameter. As always, click the photo for more views.

Butterscotch Rope Button
Here's a lovely old plastic button. The front is molded to resemble interwoven rope (or yarn). It is a big 1 1/8" in diameter, and when held to the light you can see through it a bit.
The color is a yummy rich butterscotch orange. This would be perfect as a handbag closure.

Lady Washington Baby Pearls - Buttons
These tiny buttons are on an adorable card! This would be so cute framed and put on display in a baby's room. The card's illustration shows a baby playing with blocks and a toy giraffe.
The six tiny buttons are white, and are 1/4" inch wide. The card says they're "size 12."

Le Chic Grey Buttons For Sports Wear
These plastic buttons are luminous. There are 5 of them, on the original card, and they're darker at the edges, and light in the middle. Made by Le Chic, they're "size 22," 9/16" of an inch in diameter.

This unusual metal button is round, with a square in the middle. The square features an intricate wavy design, and the round part has a ribbed design around the square.
On the orignal card, which is rather foxed and appears to have been cut at bottom (probably held more buttons at one time). The button is attached securely, it's unused & as new. Just $3.00.

Glamour for Sports Shirts Caramel Buttons
This is a set of 8 vintage pearly plastic buttons, in an attractive light caramel or butterscotch color. Each has 4 holes & measures 9/16" inch in diameter.
On the orignal card, which is has the coolest image of a guy smoking a cigarette, and, I suppose, looking glamourous. Glamour Buttons' logo was "Leaders in Style." The card says, "For Sport Shirts." and says the buttons are washable. The card is rather bent, but the buttons are sewn on securely, unused & as new.

1950s Disney Realistic Pink Horse Button
Sweet little horse button from the 50s, made of pink plastic. Button collectors of buttons call these goofies or realistics. A button book says it was made by Disney.
